2016 was the year I just decided to give up on the current gaming scene. Personally, the year was pretty good for me. I met a lot of new friends and discovered new passions, but a lot of things that happened this year was pretty rough for others around me.

It's gotten in that weird state where I can't tell if the newer episodes are really good or not. Some episodes are really good, while others are really hard to watch.

The comics are great though. First two story arcs are great. Wonderful art with genuinely good humor and a great sense of adventure. Queen Chrysalis makes for a wonderful villain. She's so evil it's almost shocking the amount of shit they do in the comics. She straight up kills a kitten by throwing it at a wall hard enough that you see the poor cat splatter. Everything past that is still good (except for the Pirate Arc, that just dragged), but it doesn't really hit the same highs as the first two stories.

I don't get this meme at all.

-I watch Power Rangers unironically.
-I read the IDW My Little Pony comics in my spare time. I don't like the show that much, but the comics are so much fun, and shockingly dark and morbid.
-One of my favorite genres of anything is romance.
-I'm a decent video editor, and have been doing it on and off for around 5 years now.
-I love to write lore and backgrounds, but I struggle with writing actual stories.
-Lastly, my hobbies and interest include Cartography, Linguistics, Math and History.
