The earlier Harry Potter tie in games were actually quite good, flawed, but good. Even the graphics and environments were good. Hogwarts was huge and detailed. But something felt off about the whole game. Everything was half baked, like they had these ideas for a grand-scale Harry Potter video game but it only got half finished for one reason or the other.

And I mean, the game was shorter than the movie, which kind of proves that it was rushed. At least it had grand ideas, because Half Blood Prince and Deathly Hollows were jut generic and shitty shooters from what I heard. Oh well.

No one really talks about them anymore, but they were pretty popular for their time. Chamber of Secrets is still regarded as a classic by a lot of people, and its fun if you can overlook its many flaws (awful graphics, mediocre voice actors, characters barely look like the actors they're based on). Its a very charming game, and has a surprisingly large world map for what it is. I loved exploring it as a kid.
