Except the game oddly enough wasn't a metroid game originally. The metroid title and related content got added after what I assume was a meh or average response when they showed the game in action a year ago.


This is why I assume people are angry at it, as they're sorta milking the franchise. Instead of continuing the Metroid Prime gameplay or 2D games that people liked so much they built a game around laser soccer and then fit metroid in there last minute.

I saw that game when it was a preview game for some nintendo competition. Looked horrible back then, still looks horrible now. I get what nintendo was trying to do, cash in on the multiplayer craze like Splatoon by taking a sport and spicing it up.


Now's the fun part. Looks like they slapped the Metroid logo over it. Guess I can't blame them, game didn't have much appeal just being "Blast Ball". So makes sense to try to use metroid to sell it, since it already did look like a deformed baby of metroid. But it hurts being a Metroid fan that they'd use one of my favourite series like a paper towel just to sell me something I don't want.

Just as Bagel said. I've been a mod before on a small site, and I can say the reason you can't joke about it is because not everyone can tell you're joking and shouldn't be expected too.

also mine isn't very original, but I am fond of it. Raven obviously from Tales of Vesperia and doctor because Raven's too common a name so I thought I'd throw something else in there and I just so happen to like doctors.
