The first episode, even though it starts off in the middle of the manga, is infinitely better than the new JoJo
We all know Joseph will never forget SHIIIIIIZA or CRACKA VORREY
1. Yeah, Araki forgetting past plot elements or plot points isn't anything new. Reminds me of the D'Arby episodes where Joseph could've used hamon to keep the water from overflowing but never even considered it.
2. What the fellow above me said.
3. Suzie Q. would probably feel a bit left out if Joseph kept bringing up his former man crush from time to time. And knowing how much of a hassle the existence of Josuke created between him and Suzie, I'm sure he unleashes his bursts of inner (fabulous) turmoil in private thereafter.
Animation quality and fluidity and fight choreography in mind I'd agree with you; the final battle between DIO and Jotaro easily blows the one in 2015 version out of the water. Everything else, however, was handled much better in the newer adaptation, imho. The nineties' OVA lacked the "bizarre" factor that makes Jojo... well, Jojo. I know they were aiming for a more serious and darker tone with it, but the loss of humour and, most importantly, the poses, made it feel that more generic than it should have been. Also, DIO's voice actor in the ovas was plain awful, and the other performances weren't that much better, even though the English dub redeemed it somewhat. The voices given to the chaarcters in the 2015 just feel right and fitting, especially Jotaro's and DIO's.
