What's happening with Minecraft?
I've seen some arguments in the Terraria forums stating that "Minecraft is getting terrible" or something along the lines of that

It lost it's value and credibility in terms of community (being nothing but 11 year olds) and the game itself can actually get boring after an hour or two.

Did they add new blocks to build with? It's kinda the only thing I care about in MC.

most of the community(edgy 11 year olds) got really angry about the 1.9 update and will most likely quit and go to unturned or something
for while,its a rather nice update

they added an ability to inject arrows with potions, ''roads''
and NOW AN AXE DOES MORE DAMAGE THEN A SWORD
also,if before full diamond armor blocked around 90% of damage,now it blocks just 30%

Diamond Hoes now have the fastest swing rate and deal around the same damage per sec as a sword
