What's your favorite image file format?

Personally, I really love Scalable Vector Graphics (.svg) - raster images stand no chance against vector-based images when it comes to scaling between resolutions.
Second favorite is Portable Network Graphics (.png), because I really don't like how jpeg compresses things.

.png because it preserves transparencies, whereas .jpg doesn't.

I don't use vector images.

Ah, the fact I find some non animated images as .gif was confusing me.

Also, I hate them because I haven't bothered to figure out how to open them with my version of photoshop.
