A thread explaining why quotes sometimes mess up
This thread is sorta educational yet fun to learn, so let me explain why sometimes quotes screw up. Ever had that moment when you quote someone and you see your text in their quote and their text in the person they quoted sometimes which looks like you typed nothing at all but just quoted? Well, it may be because of a little funny emoticon trick. Meet two odd looking emoticons:

[:
And
:[

These emoticons are used to express happy and sad faces. Rather innocent looking, but when used you will realise their true purpose. To screw quotes over. What you do is place these emoticons at the end of your comment and they have to look exactly like that above. Once you do so, if a user quotes you then their quote will be messed up. Thus you now know why quotes sometimes mess up, which is because of these two innocent looking emoticons. So now you know! [:

Crap... I don't have one. ;-;
Here, have this instead. :retro_beer:
Also, try again, without removing the emoticons or editing it or not making it at the end of the comment. [:
