For example, you backstab a Scout who's at 1 HP and you deal 6 damage because 6x1HP=6
I've never seen a knife deal 6 damage at a backstab.
And if you visit the wiki, you'll read the same.
Also Zenock, Im not sure if resistances stack, but eitherway getting backstabbed is an unescapable death. if you have one hp as a heavy, and get backstabbed by a spy, the knife will deal will 6 dmg. If you crit resist it with the battalion's backup you'll do two damage. With the 35% resistance, you'll negate the damage to -35% of its original, that would be 1.30 dmg points if I got that right. But that's still enough to kill you, if resistances DO stack, then spinning up Natasha would reduce the damage to 1.04, and it's rounded to 1.
Pre-nerf dead ringer survived backstabs.
Guaranteed kill.
Battalion's backup has35% damage resistance from all sources and crit resistance
Maybe it just focuses on the higher resistance you have.
But stuff like the Vaccinator 10% damage resistance cancel out the 10% bullet vulnerability from the pain train
