This was an odd idea I had to solve abortion
Well, not solve it but to make it more efficient. Basically if a woman wants to abort a child, the Doctors will instead take the fetus out of the Mother and preserve it in a cryo tube along with millions of others.

Then whenever the government feels like the birth rates are too Low or they need more workforce or soldiers, then they simply take the fetuses out of the tube and start growing them to be people and receive good education and whatnot because the government chooses who gets to get out of the tune and how many to fit if they need to replace the population, need more man power or more soldiers in war.

Also if the woman refuses they will have to face the dilemma of killing of a child or simply let it live in a way but stay frozen, they won't see the child again but they have a chance to live and will be ready to grow when the time is right. Why kill a child when you can preserve it in a tube and have it be born when we need more people as well as ensuring it to have a good upbringing because we choose who gets out of the tube or if they wait. Your thoughts?

Hmn, you might be onto something there...
I'm just going to say I think abortion is a good thing. If the mother doesn't want the baby then if it is born they'll obviously won't look after it to the best of their ability as they didn't want it in the first place. Thus the child will have to suffer a life of neglect, if not abuse. I say it's better to make sure the child is never born then to have to put them through a life like that.

Plus it keeps the population down.

Of course you have whole "killing infants" thing, so I'm really not sure which is better.

It depends on if you see a fetus as a living thing or not. I, personally don't as it doesn't have emotions or a conscious yet.

I think it's the fact it could be a living thing that makes it controversial, but don't quote me on that.

I doubt the government would even bother, even if they could do it. Abortion isn't very high on their list of priorities.

This could solve the population issue once sex robots come out!
what if she aborted the fetus for a reason, like it had a defect?

Technology is still not that advance to freeze people and revive them in the future.

Uuhhhh, I'm not sure that's possible yet.

I wouldn't be alive.

And the cost to create and maintain them

There will be no cost to create and maintain them if there is no way to create and maintain them.

Thing is. While I do not exactly like the idea of taking a abortion, I do not want the child to grow up and suffer if the parents cannot support him or her. I wish we can "fully" control whether the birth process will start or not. Then again, just achieving reproduction is a miracle itself.

Why don't they just make clones instead?
