The English language is weeeeeird.

The letter C is completely useless, since it can be effectively replaced with K and S.

We have rules that we break all the time. I before E, except after C, except when it's not.

We state our adjectives before our nouns, effectively describing something before telling you what it is.

We have words that are spelled the same as others, but mean completely different things, like dates, which can be either a time, going out with someone, or a fruit.
