Oh! The poor children. 388 children killed in Afghanistan this year.
More Afgan children were killed or injured in the first half of this year than in any six month period since 2009 according to an UN report.

Civillian deaths between Jan and June 2016:

Total: 1601
Children: 388
Women 130

Cvillians injured:

Total: 3565
Children: 1121
Women: 377

Anti Government elements responsible for 60% of casualties, primarily the Taliban and ISIS.

However, this year 1180 casualties were attributed to pro-government forces.

The team heard more than 5000 stories from families affected by violence in the past six months, of which one-third involved killing or maiming of children

-Zeid Raad Al Hussein (UN High Commissioner for Human Rights)

16 hundred thousand Afghans displaced in 2016 so far.

1.2 million total Afghans internally displaced.

Rest in peace.
This is horrible. I want it to end, but its not going to happen any time soon.
I hope those children are in a happier place now.

Sad indeed. Sometimes you just wish the world could be rid of all the sick people.

Alot of people here don't seem to understand what death is.
Or you know, we can accept the harsh truth?

Afghanistan is in Asia :I
it's lower West Asia, so it's basically an extension of the Middle East.

Don't forget Pakistan.

Because that country is also important for some reason.

The harsh truth is that there's nothing after death, obviously.
