If it's different to other Battlefields - yes.

I had internally died when Nintendo WFC shut down sometime after the Wii U and 3DS.
(Mario Kart Wii reasons)

For me, it's Battlefield 1942. The crazy amount of modded servers and people just laughing it off instead of taking it 110% seriously was really impressive. Also, Star Wars before Battlefront was a thing.

Now, it dies with GameSpy.

Deathmatch Classic. No suprise it's dead, because it's essentially just a goldsource port of Quake's multiplayer. Still, it's not terrible by any means but the lack of servers means the only reliable way to play the game is with bots.

Thankfully, RCBot exists.

Just imagine if that game didn't had bots, 100% unplayable game.
Rip Lego Universe.

Yeah, 1942, BF2, and 2142(?) were the shit back in the day. Though, a team has revived BF2, so it's still playable online.

Need For Speed : World...

That was literally the best NFS. And they shut it down. ;~;

R.I.P. NFSW and your acronyme which always confused people who know what NSFW means.

Bots, without them, BF1942 and BF2 are as good as gone.

I'm aware of third-party servers, but it's just not the same without having a decent player population.

No of course not, because TF2 is a dead game despite having 50k players a day while every other game has around a hundred people and are still kicking.

What.
