Question. Do you dislike overwatch?
Please give a explanation of why you dislike or like it. Also please include information of whether you have overwatch and played more than just a few hours of it.

I'm personally neutral to it.

I do not have Overwatch and have not played it either.

Believe it or not, neutral. The game, just the game, in itself isn't bad, it's just not good. It's surprisingly decent in the sense that it deserves a meh. Nothing more, nothing less. It is literally the most average game i've seen in my life.
Everything else about it though...

I can tell. I mean, after every criticism I said about the game, the rest of it is fine. It's just that there's a lot of criticism to be had. I am pretty sure if I ever sum up all my criticism towards OW it'll be thrice as long as a normal game review article.

I do not own it. The open beta was disappointing enough for me to not get it, even if the price tag isn't $40.

Mind if you listen down all the things that you disliked in a bullet point list?

Now, i'll be honest. I like Overwatch, but no. I'm not a rabid fanboy. Just wanted a discussion about it. Thing is, I holded of buying Overwatch because of its rather large price. However, a friend of mine "convinced" me (Giving me loads of item) to buy it and so I did. Downloading was a huge pain but I got it working. It actually surprised me. I expected way less of it but it did way better than I thought. I'll explain more in detail if you ask me to, I don't want to flood you with Overwatch opinions.

What might that be?

Okay, every multiplayer game has ticks. A tick is a point in time where your computer syncs up to the servers, and sends information between the two. The higher the tick rate, the lower the rate of incidences such as getting shot behind a wall. 20 tick rate is basically this happening 20 times a second.

And that is really fucking bad.

For comparison, CS:GO runs at 128 tick, if memory serves me correct, and people are rallying for even higher tick rates.

And the excuse they gave was complete bullshit. 'Raising the tick rate would break the game for 20% of the playerbase.' If your computer is so bad, it cant handle 60 tick rate servers, they wouldn't be able to handle 20 tick rate servers. The only reason they wouldn't upgrade is because it costs more money, which can't be used because TEN MILLION PLAYERS.

Mind if you give me the link for the excuse.

Apart from it, that explains why in my death replay my character didn't use their ability even though I was pretty sure I activated it. Though my net was screwing up or the replay was just played incorrectly.

Direct Quote: "Right now, for example, what we've seen is that it wouldn't work for about 20 per cent of our users."

I don't think the game is bad, just overrated.

I've played the beta, it was alright, and I don't have Overwatch because I have more important things to buy with sixty dollars!
