The Third Daily Announcement!
Note: This is user created content inspired by other users, which Dr.Robo Jesus P.hD has ownership of.

Hello members!

I am your news bringer Dr. Robo Jesus PhD! Here are today’s items.

An MP has died after she was shot and stabbed in a "horrific" assault in her constituency, police have said.

Jo Cox, Labour MP for Batley and Spen, was left bleeding on the ground after the attack in Birstall, West Yorkshire. A man was arrested nearby.
One eyewitness told the BBC they heard her attacker shout "put Britain first" at least twice beforehand.

Tributes flooded in from politicians including David Cameron, Jeremy Corbyn and US Secretary of State John Kerry.
Mrs. Cox's husband Brendan said she would want people "to unite to fight against the hatred that killed her."

This day in History

1885, The Statue of Liberty arrives in New York

On this day in 1885, the dismantled Statue of Liberty, a gift of friendship from the people of France to the people of America, arrives in New York Harbor after being shipped across the Atlantic Ocean in 350 individual pieces packed in more than 200 cases.

The copper and iron statue, which was reassembled and dedicated the following year in a ceremony presided over by U.S. President Grover Cleveland, became known around the world as an enduring symbol of freedom and democracy.

Thoughts on Oculus rift and the future of interactive media by an E3 Attendee

“I first tried the Oculus virtual reality headset back in 2013, just one year after the company completed its Kickstarter. It wowed me at the time, but one thing I noticed when I took it off was the not inconsiderable amount of
sweat I'd managed to produce in such a short time.

Fast forward three years and Oculus isn't the only player in the game. The headsets are definitely lighter, but from the Gear VR to the Oculus, from the HTC Vive to the PlayStation VR it has to be said: They're still not comfortable enough for long-term use.”

Microsoft will use Steam to sell Windows games, not just its own store

While some of Microsoft's older game titles, such as Age of Empires II HD (a 2013 update of a 1999 game) are found on Valve's Steam platform, its latest high-profile titles, such as Forza 6 Apex andQuantum Break, are exclusive to the Windows Store. But this is going to change, with Microsoft planning to release more titles on the popular store.

Phil Spencer, head of the Xbox team at Microsoft, was talking on Giant Bomb's E3 stream, viaGameSpot. When it comes to PC gaming, the Windows Store is very much an also-ran, with Steam the dominant force. As Spencer noted, "I don't think Valve's hurt by not having [Microsoft's] first-party games in their store right now. They're doing incredibly well." Accordingly, Spencer said that Microsoft "will ship games on Steam again."

Not anymore than a ton of other fan bases.

Just like how there is a ton of "junk" in the tf2 fanbase, there are good community's in side, same for MC.

I've played mc for many years, along with owning be my own server. I am really not gonna be okay if they attempt to take MC to steam.
