What is fear?
Now, a lot of people can tell you what fear is like. Perhaps a monster jumping out of a closet in a movie, or perhaps your friend decided to tap you in the back at the middle of the night.

But however, true fear is different.

True fear is something that will arrive. You cannot prevent it. You know it's coming. You know it cannot be stopped.

You can struggle, you can pray, you can hope for a miracle. You cannot prevent it.

It slowly inches towards you, you are filled with dread, with suspense. You cannot prevent it.

You can scream, you can shout, you can cry, you can hope for a miracle. But no matter what you cannot prevent it.

It drags itself towards you, its breath touches you. You can try to do whatever you can to escape, but it does not matter, reality sets in and lands a heavy blow.

I live in Myanmar, not singapore, Lagger. If you still follow the news, we got a new government in over 50 years.

Fear is when you're lying in bed listening to the sounds of the night, alone at home, with no precautions taken.
Then suddenly you hear a faint sound, gradually increasing in intensity: bzzzzzzzzzzz.
And all you can do is pull up your blankets and hope it doesn't sting you.
