You mean, Dark Souls: Not As Depressing Edition?
It's probably going to get patched to run at 60 FPS on the PS4 Pro.

I'll just wait until the inevitable emulators come out, though.

In which in this case, consoles become more valuable to collect (At least in ownership bragging rights).

Because you own the real thing?

Then again, how many rare old console special editions are there.

I should point out that I already have a PS4. $400 is more than I'm willing to spend just to play one game at a better frame rate.
I was regarding more on the emulator part, but yeah, I'll be sticking to the original model really.

Bloodborne is depressing too.

Like when you do the little girl's quests.
Or when you fight some of the bosses in the game

Firstly, there's barely any 3rd party games on the Wii-U that run at 60 fps.
Secondly, that website can list way more PS4 games that run at 60 fps than the Wii-U.

Fuck, ya beat me. Still, know any games that can run at 1080p AND 60FPS at the PS4? Cuz the "weak" Wii U can.

Alright, you beat me. Congrats.

Still, if my theory is correct it means third-party devs have no idea how to program for the Wii U.

No, 3rd party games have always been terrible with most Mintendo consoles
If you even backtrack as far as N64 vs PS1, you can see with games like Spider-Man and Nigtmare Creatures that the games were skewed in comparison to the PC/PS1 versions.
Spider-Man: Web of Shadows is an excellent example of 3rd party Nintendo games as well.
However if the argument about them having no idea on how to program for Nintendo plats, then it could be argued from there that Nintendo doesn't have a well-compatible console; in comparison to all of the other games that run on the Playstation and the Xbox consoles.

Developers have been compromising frame rates for graphics for a while now. So I wouldn't blame games not running at 60fps on incompetence.

Hell, some devs may not even see a point in anything more than 30fps. I remember reading about Dissidia where the game's director had to explain to the team that 60fps is beneficial for gameplay. Then there's Ninja Theory, when working on DmC, they decided right off the bat that the game was going to run at 30fps.

The same thing was also said about Bloodborne being decided to run at thirty FPS.
I've never really had a moment in Bloodborne that it could've used 60 fps over 30 fps.
The aesthetics worked considerably well for what was given, but I do kind of think that BB could still gain a lot from having 60 fps for things like jigglebone attire, and fluid combat.

DmC reboot was a mistake
