I'm an animator myself but I use blender. As to sticking with it. If you have always wanted to do animation. And you seriously mean it then you will find a love for it once you decide to stick it. But if you can't stick it then you must not think it's your thing and should find something else.

Just find a tutorial, and make an animation. You could always start now.

You can do it.
But life will never be a wish granting factory.

Given enough time, you can do almost any hobby you set your mind to.


Whether or not you get recognized for it is another matter.

I can relate. It is very intimidating to start something you dream of doing. Especially when you are first learning to do it. But if you keep it up, you will learn to love it if it really is something you wish to do. I was that way with modding the elder scrolls/fallout games. I loved exploring mods and learning about them and kept promising to make one myself. And then I would promise myself to wait until the next game. I would get to it. And so on.

Then one day I just sat down and did it. I was so confused and lost and had no idea what i was doing. I almost quit. But I forced myself through it. And then once I finally understood the basics, a whole new world of modding opened up to me. I started to have a lot of fun with it. From making stupid little trinkets to eventually whole complex living villages.

My only regret was not starting sooner.

You can do it! All you need is practice and determination! Never give up!

It's like art.
