Probably. I mean come on, baby metal's a thing.

First and foremost, EDM is a very broad genre, and sometimes even serves as an umbrella term for several genres, including, but not limited to techno, house, trance, drum and bass, dubstep, hard dance, Jersey club, and their respective subgenres. (source[en.wikipedia.org])
There's a large list of other electronic genres here[en.wikipedia.org], and a lot of them blend together and sound similarly, so defining a single genre for certain tracks can be quite difficult.

Personally, I listen to a wide variety of music; although I prefer tracks without vocals, or with vocals that don't override the instruments - with a few exceptions, of course.
It depends on what I feel like listening to at any given moment.

I don't understand why the hipster rap thingies or whatever the fuck else people are listening to nowadays are so popular though (i.e. >95% of all the so-called "toplists") - most of them are, in my opinion, complete garbage and/or clones of eachother.

I like a lot of EDM, but I don't like all EDM.

And the vast majority of songs that sound like it sound way too generic to me.

I prefer to listen to House, Electro Swing, and Future Funk, (even though most FF songs don't take very much effort).

I like some of the old artists such as PBN and Tristam, and about EDM sub-genres posted on NCS and Monstercat - mainly Glitch Hop, Dubstep, Drumstep, Trap and a few others.
