If you have a PS4 controller, you can just hook it up and Steam lets you play with it, too.

It easily works with Steam, like the Steam Controller.
Except that the PS4 controller is actually really good.

Plus on top of it, you can configure custom control schemes via big picture mode.
On the other hand, people can try using 3rd party programs, or cheap gamepads.
Literally anything else other than the Steam controller.
