So I got BF1 today
And boy is medic a great class

Also, the thing I like the most about being the squad leader

Is the whistle

Oh, and I got revive MVPs half the matches I played

I also bayonet charged a freshly collected heavy gunner and maniacally laughed as I got gunned down by his friends

It is fun

Oh and,

Discuss why BF1 is or isn't fun

It's about as historically accurate as Halo, but damn I'm enjoying it. Although I wish bolt-action rifles could be used by all 4 classes, and have the scoped rifles be restricted to the scout.

Like, I'm hearing that there aren't a lot of medics or something.

I was in a 5 man squad of medics today

Problem is, secondary weapons are obsolete when you're playing medic

I have a three shot mid to close range rifle with a good ROF, 21 bullets and a reload faster than you can say UGHBYAAAAAAAAAAAAA*high pitched sound*
Yeah, during my whole time playing as medic I don't think I switched weapons once, except when I'm showing off.
Also, the bayonet charge seems to act stupid at times.
So I charge right in the back of this guy. I stumble a bit on him, then bump out of his way and charge past him.
I still killed him because the reaction times of all enemies are pathetic, but still

I'm fine being the scout for America and Britain though, since America did have black soldiers, and I'm unsure about Britain but I find it easier to pretend they had them as well.
Britain did have African soldiers from their colonies participate in the Western Front.

Granted, they were mainly used as cannon fodder, as did France and their foreign legions.

It's the lack of historical accuracy that keeps from away from it.

Well, that and Origin.

What about the Germans? I know they had colonies in Africa, which would've probably had African regiments, but did they fight in Europe?

No, with the exceptions of black Germans already living in Europe at the time.

I shall now present the secret key to playing medic

Bind spotting to M1 as well as Q

This actually means that in battle:
You can spot enemies by shooting at them or in their general direction
While shooting you can still kobe medic bags and score all the points

Also, I use Trench weapons since half the time the dead teammates are covered in green fog BUT I also use 1.50 or 2.00 magnification because semi auto weapons are best used that way

Oh and to get good at medic you need to do those things as well:
Learn to kobe medic bags manually
Learn to dolphin dive and take out the syringe at the same time
Learn to hipfire and hit shit
Learn to ADS and hit shit further away
Not die like a dum dum

That is if you don't use the big ones and camp like a bunch of pansies everyone seems to be
