KOTH is the worst gamemode in TF2
The small maps, and the general ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that ensues is unfun as a whole.

I disagree, as at least then you have the option to turtle, and you still have the option to flank, and manuver.
You don't get this in KOTH.

One heavy-medic combo isn't enough to take down 5 sentries.

Not really, unless you camp in your spawn, in which case the enemy will just win in the required time.
At least KOTH has a time limit. All you have to do is capture the CP which doesn't really take too long. As explained in the video, CTF only has a score limit, no time limit. Stalemates happen 24/7 so the game could go on for hours, hell even days.
