The History and Story of FRC and what I did with it when I first created it
Alright, since it has been one year exactly since I created FRC as well as having 10 more days before I give Krinkov Ownership, I should tell the story and history of FRC and the details about its creation and how I developed and ran it and why I created it too.

Before the creation of Forum Regulars Connected
Before I made FRC, I was just a forum regulars who started out in the TF2 forums as a forum regular in early January 2015 which I then left after sometime when I discovered and got more involved within forum groups like FCU(Forum Campers United) and the IMMOTF2FWBAH Retirement Home. Generally near the creation of FRC, I was mainly just a member and somewhat lurker in the remaining forum groups which one of them was whatever group that was created after the death of Retirement Home which was Waterfall Nest, The Regs and The Republic. Both groups during the time, or prior had heavy tensions with one another, lots of drama and all. The atmosphere got really, really toxic during that time, so much that I even left both groups once as I needed a break to get away from the drama and toxicity of it all.

The birth of the idea of forming the Forum Regulars Connected group
After a while spending time in the remaining forum groups, I realised that they were isolated communities. They didn't really want to bring in new forum regulars from the TF2 forums, bringing in new regulars was no longer an active action there and it was just mainly a stagnating group of old forum regulars just being in a community. This was pretty different compared to the previous groups like FCU and I'll Make My Own TF2 Forums which I believed both played an active role in bringing in new regulars or the current regulars from the TF2 forum or other forums to have a place for forum regulars to discuss and not live under the insane nazi rule of mods and ban waves.

I realised that no one in the TF2 forums, after one year had created any new forum groups, and the current forum groups didn't really actively bring in new forum regulars. So that means the new forum regulars would literally have no forum group to experience, so I wanted to create a new forum group that would target new and current forum regulars in the TF2 forums and other forums too in the later stages of the group since the current forum groups would not take new regulars in and for some reason no one made a new group for them. Doing this would allow the new generation of forum regulars to experience their own forum group and have a place for their generation to hang out or act as a place for them to hang out overall. So thats when the idea started.

The birth of Forum Regulars Connected
So with the idea in hand, I went back to the TF2 forums and saw some forum regulars from 2015 but also a lot of new forum regulars too. After posting for a while there for a while and trying to get an idea of who the new regulars were, I decided to just create a thread about it. The thread asked about who the remaining or current forum regulars are and after that, one thing lead to another and the idea of a forum group was formed which lead to me to create the FRC group. After that, I just invited the people in the thread or they joined themselves.

The Purpose of FRC then:
-To act as a place for banned, current or new forum regulars to hang out and discuss together.
-To be an alternate area to act as a reliable forums for forum regulars
-To connect as many current or new forum regulars together as possible

The Early Days of Forum Regulars Connected
I'll be honest, during the early days, while most of the forum regulars, current or new were quickly invited into the group, I kind of didn't expect the group to succeed. I had hope though, and I wanted to put in the effort and make actions that would create hope for the group and make it succeed, still the possibility that it would die in the first few days, a crucial time for any new forum regular group that determines if it is to be a serious forum group that will be active for a long period of time or not. I had hope and optimistic visions of what FRC would become and that it would work, but I also had my doubts and felt like it could fail. But I pushed on, made efforts to make it survive and it worked. This was done in a couple of ways. The first admin to work alongside with me was StingerRPG, who acted as an admin in this group.

The mods were some hastily chosen people that I chose just for the sake of having mods for a new group. But eventually we outed some of them, the outing I believe was chosen by Stinger and made the first applications to sign some of the mods up. We also at the time kept FRC hidden from the forum regular groups that had old regs, allowing only some to have information about the group like Hoovy and Zennock as we feared they may bring drama or attempt to start drama with the new group, considering how there was a lot of drama back then. New forum regulars were chosen based on their posts in the forums, if they had 500-1000 posts in the forums they would be invited. We also had to work on encouraging the group to make their threads and all, and to bring activity to the place. Somehow we did it though, so it worked I guess, whatever we did to get the group running.

We placed down the early rules too during then. I was still a bran new forum group Owner, so I would make some mistakes as I was never in charge of a serious forum group before, though I learned a little from mistakes past groups made and did my best to make sure FRC would not repeat them. During this time the first FRC mods included Blacklight, Nanonium, isuckatgaming, Zennock and Warlock who were shown at the time to be fit for mod with their well done applications. The group's community was active too, they were active in designing the group pictures for the group, hence how we got the first famous "FRC" scroll profile picture and others. It was also during this time the first FORUM GAME was made by Nexio, which eventually turned into a major factor for FRC's culture. Nexio also contributed into creating the [FRC] tag idea for FRC members to wear which you may see some of us wear to this day.

We also had a purge where we tried to get rid of non forum regulars who were in here or people we never saw on the forums that were in the group or did not respond to a roll call but it ended up not having much people being left as it was hard and complicated to differ who was a regular and who was not. Famous FORUM GAME threads created during this time such as You're Banned by Nexio and Associations by G_Lad were created that reached thousands of comments. Around this time Zennock became an Admin.

History on the middle of FRC's history
Around this time major things for the group was happening, there was the Discord that was first created by iscukatgaming, the creation of the Spam subforum and more. We had "Choose the new group picture for FRC" elections where many FRC members designed new forum group pictures for FRC, "Elect Player of The Week" by Zennock, the RPG thread, many bandwagons such as so many AMAs and mod app. Also FORUM GAMES went on an insane rise, there were so much during the time. This was also where we had the famous FRC RPG thread in which orange was designing an FRC RPG game and made sprites and all. Artworks were made and fun and all. Stinger also left during this time too as he was too busy with other stuff.

This was also the time where news of FRC had already spread and reached the ears of all the remaining forum groups and their members and most of the old or ex regs have heard of it. This lead to them coming in, slowly, one by one as long as it felt alright. We also had votes and polls to allow the FRC community to choose who could come in or not too. We had some drama here and there but usually things just stayed peaceful. We also got Krinkov, Anatolia, Sir Illic and Prusak as mods during this time too, with Krinkov getting promoted to Admin eventually. Eventually new of FRC hit top news in forum filth as more of their members wanted in on FRC, though it really blew up when Dusty got banned, which lead to tensions between both groups a high. Lots of drama. The dog ♥♥♥♥♥♥ incident happened around this time too, and more and more came and followed which lead to more tensions between both groups. Got so bad to the point where forum filth has a 9/11 profile picture with the FRC logo pasted on the Twin Towers. Eventually though things calmed down between both groups and yeah.

Eventually more and more and more old/ex forum regulars came into the group, which actually caused some tensions. We reached around 300-400 members during this time. A small part of the early FRC community was kind of xenophobic to old/ex forum regulars as they said they didn't count as regulars but eventually they became alright with them. But yeah, this should be the time where the mod elections happened and more drama spurred from there, which we then elected Lewin, Darkenine and Erick as mods. Around this time petitions came about, one merging the Spam subform and Jokes subform together and Shadowconn66's petitions to delete the Artworks and Trading subforms. Also more drama happened and there were more rules made such as what to do with bandwagons and all. Also during this period of time I had exams to do so I gave ownership to Zennock for a while which later caused major drama which got him to hand Ownership back to me shortly and then he told me afterwards that he felt like taking a break as a mod too. Apart from that, we had more events and fun, especially for the Halloween Trick or Treat events.

The later parts of the History of FRC to the present times
Then after sometimes, major changes happened such as the demodding of a couple of moderators and the petition by Shadowconn66 that brought down FRC's borders that lead to it being a public group after the petition won through the majority of the voters voting yes as well as the number of members in FRC reaching 500. A lot of FRC's original members stopped posting by this time too, though it was more like a collection of users not posting throughout the year of 2016. Some drama here and there, some secret santa's held and all and yeah. And then 2017 came around and well, I guess this is where we are now.

Conclusion on the history of Forum Regulars Connected
Overall it has been a long fun year, starting from humble beginnings when I first created Forum Regulars Connected. We evolved, developed, grew, un-grew, changed, had fun, struggled through drama, had great events to use as fun, had many silly bandwagons and insane threads. It was one long fun adventure with all of you in FRC and may more be to come.

PS:
I definitely missed out on some parts of FRC's history, hard to sum up everything in one post so if you want to add in more parts of FRC's history that I missed or that you want me to add to the description of the thread please post so in the comments below.

Its supposed to be a detailed history and all, which will be hard to explain in short form. It is meant for people who want to look somewhat deep into it and just remember or know the details of the group and what it was like in the past and what happened to it over time and all.
>which was Waterfall Nest, The Regs and The Republic. Both groups during the time, or prior had heavy tensions with one another, lots of drama and all.
Incorrect. I did as much as possible to keep The Regs out of it, many times telling The Republic to fuck off with their autistic war bullshit.
The most we did was, some members were in the groups, screenshot some threads, and we'd laugh over how dumb it was.

Also, do not spread false rumors about another user, especially rumors that could get that person arrested in real life. This counts in the FRC Discord server as well, and will not be tolerated by the moderators.
