my neighbour just asked me if i could help them carry some luggage up to their flat, sure i said. we get down there and its boxes bigger than i am, like 10 of them. why he saw my tiny little self and thought i would be of good help i am unsure.

I hope he had lots of smaller boxes and unpacked the big one into several lighter carryable boxes.
Empty them out in his place and then load the empty boxes again.
If your neighbor forced you to carry the huge box they're not a good person.
