There was one tiny portion of a dream where I used the Reaper "gun" from PerfectDark64. I'm pretty sure that wall needed some reapage.

Valve was never good at maths.

Actually it doesn't matter if us other steam users see it, Valve(Steam) knows all. You don't need to make your profile public.

If you want the years of service changed you have to create an official support ticket and not simply send an email. If you can provide the right evidence to them (proof of purchase, receipts, etc) I'm sure they could adjust the date.

You're not the first person with he incorrect "years of service" (search the forums for that, see how they got it resolved).

Nobody can see your profile, its marked as private. How's that for irony?

Good ol' Starcraft & BroodWars... Unless the code has been significantly updated (not sure if you could run the new ones) it onl required Win98 or NT4.

DefenseGrid: The Awakening is a great low-resource tower defense game.

The original Half-Life should work perfectly for you. TF2 worked fine on my Pentium3 650Mhz although its grown a bit over the last few years.

PeggleExtreme (Peggle with Valve-art and themes) is worth playing too.

Just depends on what you're into.

I like the simplicity of it and it would certainly make saved games easier to manage, but try convincing the major game companies (and the indie companies you love) to just change their existing code. Its probably not going to happen.
I usually backup/restore one game's saved game at a time usually after an install or just before an uninstall (if its not backed by the steam cloud). It can be a bit of a hastle, but each game has its own idea of where save games go. I guess if you do this often enough you could make a DOS Batch file (or macUnix/Linux script) to do the copying for you for all your games at once. One for storing, another script for restoring. Perhaps a third one to clear out all saved games entirely.

You're waiting for a game. A game that'll take you far away. You know where you hope this game will take you. But you can't know for sure. Yet it doesn't matter. Its on sale!

Some winners got their entire wishlist (I think), and the grand prize was all currently released games on steam(The event conveniently ended just days before Portal 2 was released).
Again, none of that happening this year.
