I think your hard drive is about to become non-functional.
Please run Window's own disk check utility and do the full scan to recover bad sectors.
You will notice as you try this it can't do that because windows is running. DO schedule the diskcheck and reboot when you have HOURS of time to not be at the computer. The full disk check can take over 3 hours and its in 5 different stages. All you have to do is not cancel it at reboot. Once its done, it will reboot normally, hopefully having fixed any software problem with the file/folder structure of the disk.
If it doesn't then you will have to buy a new internal hard drive and do a clean install of windows... and then copy all your files, games and settings over while your old drive still spins/works. Talk it over with a local nerd before you actually start formatting drives. Most of the effort is prep-work so you can restore everything without problems.

Your credit card info will be stored online at the steam store website but only if you put it there and check the box telling it to remember. Perhaps go there now and make sure nothing is stored.
1) Put a bogus item in your cart
2) proceed to checkout
3) look at the existing info
4) clear or re-enter the info, make sure it saves.

Once thats done your good to cancel or buy. Be sure you don't accidently buy though. Valve doesn't do refunds.

This message (and the one I responded to in the Steam Community forum) would be better suited in the Defense Grid forum. You obviously found a bug that nobody else has. I still recommend you confirm the timestamp on those achievements to see if it was when you were playing.

From the main steam window click on the menus at the top.
"View">"Settings"
On this screen at the bottom should be a checkbox that I think you may have accidently checked.

[x] Don't save account credentials on this computer

Clear the checkbox and try again.

Virtual Memory is otherwise known as the swap file or the pagefile.
Windows manages a possibly huge file that stores spill-over data when you've used up all your computer's actual RAM. The program is just telling you to increase the size.

On windows find the My Computer icon (on Windows7, its stupidly named to just "Computer"). You want to right-click it and pick properties from the pop-up menu. Find the Advanced systems ettings then dig through to the performance settings. Use either the Recommended size shown on the screen or some multiple of 1024 MB. Use that same number for the initial and the maximum size textboxes and click the "Set" button. By the way, you would want to enter a number larger than what it currently says or this won't help solve that problem with RAVAGED at all.

I have omitted some steps in how to get to the screen but you should be able to figure it out. Its basically the same for all Window's versions. Post again if you need help/clarification.

I've been a fan of Antantica for quite some time before it came to steam. Its free but does require making a free account on Nexon's website. The music is in freely playable ogg files. Dabble around with those, I almost guarantee you'll want to see the level its associated with.
Also, its a huge game. The downloaded full installer (non-steam) is 2GB, the installed game is 15GB so, you may have to wait. It is worth it though, even if you never actually install the game, snag those songs, they're .ogg files.

By the way, my character is a level 68 Sword main. If you see someone named Gelfling, please give a shout-out.

Oh, and the game is an altered reality smattering of actual earth (not to scale) with a mix of historical landmarks and people. The quests are typical of MMO games. You also recruit and fire wandering mercenaries who have different abilities (usually to compliment your main character).

And its a free game. You "could" buy items with real world money, but you can still find everything without opening your wallet once, and usually right as you need it. Also that Christmas event will be starting soon. You get to slay evil toys, get super weapons from Santa... the usual stuff.

Gaming at work? I hope you never have to tell a customer to wait because you're almost done with a raid.

But if you can spring for it, get the Valve complete pack. Eventually your comp/replacement/upgrade will be able to play them all.

And Valve had to make a change to L4D2 just for Australia... (no blood/gore in a zombie game, go figure).

Reset your keyboard controls to default and the problem should disappear.
Somebody probably bound UP_ARROW to +backwards. You can check it in the console before you reset.
