There appears to be a gap where the date was usually found (Ex: "Oct 29th") now just features a gap and a thin blue line.
Is this a work in progress? is the font color now the same gray as the background?
Is Valve trying to remove all indications of time passing perhaps converting everyone to Valve-Time?(that last one was a joke... maybe)

I certainly hope the server admins don't have a "send money to reduce your ping" deal...(If so find some other server)
How about the geographic distance to the server and is it generally fast enough for everyone on it or does it lag for everybody?
Does the server go down a lot?
Is it heavily modded? Gravity altered, guns launch paint or headcrabs, etc? Mods themselves usually don't make it slower, but if you're connecting to a standard map with standard settings it should be fine. Ask the admin to do a test on a standard map if you can and prove its not something wacky on the ScoutzKnivez map itself.

Click on your games library at the top of the main steam window.
There is a little pull-down menu that includes "All Games" and "Tools". Flip over to the tools list.
Find and install "Source SDK". The hammer map editor is just one of the item choices.

Team and voice wouldn't make a difference unless you're playing Versus mode and you want to tell the other team something.
