If you haven't gotten through the chapters then you can't pick them as starting points.
I presume you at least enjoyed the inbound tram ride and the "happy" button at the security guard's desk. If you immediately saw two scientists from starting a new game then I have no idea what you have done. Perhaps you're at the test chamber. The two scientists there are supposed to open the door for you.
Also, there is always a way to the next step of the game. Might take several reloads or skillful jumping, but it always helps to look around.

Its just bad design. It was fine, but then they borked it.

If you're going to put content on the page that extends beyond what the scrollbars can reach then its not in the page or scrollbars are meaningless.

The system requirements were posted on the store page once the game went live.
It requires a video card with 1GB of video ram.
My 512MB card won't cut it. It needs 1GB to even run properly.

The Crowbox

AirMech does a pretty good job of refreshing Herzog Zwei.
Its also pretty fun.
StarFox Armada ranks pretty high on my list.

I had an apocalyptically good job interview, then celebrated by catching a serious cold.

On the library tab right click the game. On the pop-up menu choose "Delete local content".
Once that is done uninstalling find the game again and re-download it.

While you're waiting for Valve to delete your steam account try wasting some time in those 10 games your account owns. It just might change your mind.
Then again you have ban(s) on your profile. Try not to install cheating programs in your next life. Good luck and have fun.
