Have a local nerd check out your system specs. I don't mean the guys at that infamous computer store, but someone who knows what they're doing.

If you can get down to 40 processes like me then you're in good shape, especially considering you might have a newer computer than I do (specs on my profile page). The default factory install of most pre-built systems is well over 70 processes and sometimes into the 120 range. There is plenty of stuff occupying your computers attention.

If you have a laptop then your hardware is pretty much set and you can only optimize Windows itself. For some games if you don't meet the minimum requirements it will still try to play, but don't expect greatness.

Post your specs from the steam help menu on the "System Information" screen. That will help a lot figuring out if you can run those fancy games.

I remember TF2 had a really spiffy submarine you could walk around in... I think it was on one of the escort missions. Would also be fun to bring the old CS1.6 jeep back into current maps.

I heard there was an age requirement for steam. There shouldn't be any "kids" on here without parental guidance. That picture is a bit disturbing but not illegal. I wouldn't have that as my profile pic. If it was a lady pic I'm sure half of you that are upset would have no problem.
