That will just escalate their panic level and they might lash out in defense. Even if you are calm I don't think you'd appreciate people trying to capture you.
Calm them down and make sure nobody has weapons on either side.

If I was forced to approach someone having a bad day I'd have to assess if I have any knowledge of their background or situation that I can use to get them grounded.

But I'd probably start monologing about how much I can help them...

Someone who can crawl through vents like John McLaine in Die Hard(or Gordon Freeman). Perhaps use this skill to save the world, or stuck kittens.

Imagine if someone had the time to go to that website and capture a plain text request and the response from the website...
And then build a curl command around it so that you could hit the site with any game, your current hardware specs and receive the normal response that you can display however you like.
