Its an activity that I want to share with friends. Instead of hunting down my (or their) posts the hard way I'd like it to show up on the activities. Everything else seems to be there. Might even be cool to thumbs up/down messages.
Perhaps start with only the in-client discussions forum, add the "REAL" forum later as a bonus.

Amnesia: The Dark Descent
Its psychologically scary for the most part...(screams, shrieks, and forced camera panics, blurs, bugs, protoplasm forming on walls, etc)
Well there ARE actual monsters, but they just wanna hug you... with their claws. Hide in closets or around corners till they leave.

Its a darn fine game. Play it at high noon with your windows open and your lights on.
Some people record their reactions on youtube... hillarious because they are genuinely frightened.

But on Steam, Valve makes the rules.
Had I never even seen the /me command I wouldn't miss it. Except it became a big part of my online conversations in chatrooms. And now the game is over, no continues, no appeals. I'd welcome it back if they can find a responsible way to do so. Its misuse only affected the uninformed and no great way to discover the feature was ever generally provided.

As with the death of the 9 hats... so goes /me. (I hope they weren't related, but that would be a real story wouldn't it?)

As far as I know /me was the only well known mostly undocumented command in chat. I would have loved to know if there were others. One does not simply "discover" them but are shown by someone else.

I think there was also a bold or other kind of mega text, but I never learned it (saw lots of it from people who didn't feel like sharing the "secret")

An additional note on chatroom text:
Can we please have a personal option to turn off/modify the rendering of posted items? I'd settle for a steam generated message like x: [Vintage Natascha] (on a line all by itself that can't be faked) that could be equally clickable instead of the horribly uninformative long url ...which isn't clickable. Also the height and width of these images screw up the scrolling. Sometimes I have to click way above or below before I drag to select around the text that I want to copy.(Sit in the TF2 chat long enough and try selecting the line you want. You have to be skillfull.)
