That would be any one steam user account that takes a look at whatever you put there. They might not even take the time to look at it, but it just shows the popularity by visits.
Its a somewhat better number to use than just how many times the page was requested as that could be one guy parked on your page hitting refresh. Steam knows the difference.

Also no matter how wide I make the steam main window I can only see Youtub on the right of videos. The rest is chopped off. Did nobody test this feature first? About 100 pixels of the vid cannot be seen.

Your inventory has a history of your trades. Find the profile page from there and report him. He will be adequately punished but you most likely won't get your items back.

Current players never worked for me neither. I figured I'd have to exit the game to force it to update, but then that tab disappears.

Well thats pretty odd to get 5 in a row.
I have TF2 installed and I probably saw one update push early in the morning (unless I was mistaken about which game it was).
Perhaps you are mistaking cloud synchronization (settings) with program code updates (happens every time you exit TF2)
If it happens again please screenshot it and post here (avoid/obscure out your actual steam login name in the image if you do).

For now, don't bother re-installing as you've done that. Try validating the steam-cache instead. its like a repair install.
