It isn't VAC secured and I don' tplay, so I can't say if a 3rd party anti-cheat is involved.

Based on lack of VAC alone, I would say there would be no problem.

At least uninstall the trainer before you go back online. But the best bet is to never install it and just play/learn the game. For PC games invovling racing consider using a PS3 or Xbox360 controller. Get a racing wheel or a joystic if that helps. Keyboard and mouse are just a bid too awkward. When you're playing with other people only your own skill matters anyway. If you have the opportunity watch how other people play and I don't mean just what happens on screen.

No you will not be banned by TDU2 for cheating online or offline. However, the cheat probably will not work online due to the very clever anti-cheat mechanics put in place by the devs. Black holes will appear on your screen messing up graphics when the anti cheat detects memory editing.

Fair to note that you should shut down your cheat, or just plain delete it before joining other vac protected games just in case.

That is correct, assuming you are still talking about TDU2.

Why is this technique not used in VAC!?

Most of the annoyance in VaC games are due to autoaiming software not trainers. Two completely different things.
