I haven't played with cheats or third-party programs, and I want to appeal my ban. I'm an honest player I was playing on a friend's account and decided to log in to my own account, and after a few games, I was banned

An "honest player" would not have been using somebody else's account. Account sharing is a violation of Steam's Terms of Service... Now that doesn't sound very honest, does it?

Game bans are PERMANENT and NON-NEGOTIABLE. You cannot appeal it.

Yeah, that's what happens when accounts are caught violating the game's rules.

gamebans can be given for one of a few things and its permanent, also account sharing is against TOS. Also wouldn't be amazed if you were cheating on your friends profile, then decided to go over to your profile while your wonderful cheating software was still active.
