Hello everyone,

I recently received a VAC ban in Dota 2, and I truly believe it’s a mistake.
I have never used any cheats or third-party software in any game.

This is my long-time Steam account, created years ago. Before The International, I was completing the required playtime to unlock ranked matchmaking and even won a small reward during the event.
If this ban is somehow related to that, please understand it was never my intention to exploit anything.

I’d gladly return the reward if needed — I just want my access to Dota 2 back.
Now my profile shows a VAC ban, and people think I’m a cheater. That’s embarrassing and unfair.

I’ve contacted Steam Support, but there’s no direct response from the Dota 2 team, and no explanation for the ban.
I’ve also spent around $15 on this account, so I can’t just abandon it.

Please, if anyone from the Dota 2 / Valve team reads this, I kindly ask for a manual review of my case.
I just want to play the game I love — fairly, as I always have.
