Not a vac ban, that's a game ban.
game bans are for many reasons, not just cheating.
we don't know what you did and Valve will not tell you.

I have seen that this kind of false ban will be lifted. I am very sure that I have not violated any rules. I have not cheated or cursed, etc.

Well then I wish you good luck, but understand that if after.. 4 weeks the ban is still there then its very permanent.

False game bans in valve owned titles are rarer then winning the lottery twice in one day and there has only ever been 2 or 3 incidents where valve has removed game bans.

I highly doubt that. People who made this statement before you have essentially confused it with one of the following two points:
1. There was a buggy ban wave (lag+ or something). You don't fall under that, since it happened ages ago.
2. Either it was just a VAC error or someone told them that, even though it wasn't true.

I've been on Steam for a while now, and I've seen hundreds of people with game bans, and as far as I know, none of them have had their bans removed.

Try looking at your profile. That's what matters. What it says in game does not matter at all.

Game bans have nothing to do with VAC or this forum.

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all activity on the account.

Bans are delayed from the time of the detection to the time that the ban is actually applied. What you were doing when the ban was applied, is irrelevant.

Be sure to read EVERYTHING....even the information contained within the links. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER REASONS BESIDES CHEATING.

The ban is permanent.

It will not be removed.

Counter-Strike 2 game bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.



Why are game bans issued?
Game bans in Counter-Strike 2 are issued when a player attempts to circumvent or interfere with game systems to the detriment of others.

Botting and/or automation.
