Why are game bans issued?
Game bans in Counter-Strike 2 are issued when a player attempts to circumvent or interfere with game systems to the detriment of others.

Examples include:
Cheating.
Manipulation of matchmaking rank by deranking or falsely increasing your Skill Group or Counter-Strike Rating.
Botting and/or automation.
Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of game servers or other players.
These are just examples, there are many more different reasons.

Can you tell me why I was game banned?
No. We do not disclose the reason for your game ban.

Counter-Strike 2 game bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support.

There have already been incidents where people were banned for no reason and then unbanned, and that's what I'm talking about. I was banned for no reason, and I didn't use cheats.

If you're as well-informed about these erroneous bans as you are about the game ban, then that's anything but credible.

There are strange laws in Steam, if you get banned, it means there's a reason, but there's no information about the ban. How does it work? If there's no information, it means the ban is incorrect, because I don't meet the criteria for a ban. However, the ban still appears, and I'm wondering what the real reason is. I've been playing since 2018, and I haven't done anything wrong. I'm hoping that the ban is false.

Just because Valve doesn't give you details doesn't mean the ban is wrong.

The ban isn't wrong, because it's not issued without reason. I've seen hundreds of game bans, and none have ever been removed. Honestly, you can give up hope.

This is users/players forum ONLY, not Valve Support. Game bans are also caused by other reasons, not necessarily cheats. Read the info on your profile, then make a new account, because your Game Ban is permanent, and permanent means forever.
