Vac ban by mistake
Hello, dear Valve Corporation employees. I was just banned in the game "Counter-Strike 2" by mistake, as I have never used any third-party software or cheats. I have always played fairly, and it makes me very sad that I was banned by mistake. Could you please verify that I was banned by mistake? I would really like to play CS2 again. Thank you for your understanding.

Cheating isn't the only way to earn a game ban.
today I was banned for no reason, yesterday I played 1 game of NAPs and that was it, and the next day I was banned from CS 2 for an indefinite period

We share in your sadness, actually.

We, too, are very sad that people keep posting here calling their game bans as VAC bans, when the red text on their profiles clearly show the ban as a game ban, and there is even an "info" button right next to that red text explaining the same things.

It's very, very sad indeed. :steammocking:

Support is responsible for many things, but not for bans.

That's why the FAQs state that bans can't even be removed by support.

always funny that people will fail to go to their profiles and click on the info button next to their bans, or even click on the link what is supplied to them in the thread they made. OP see both link and info below regarding gamebans.

Can I appeal my game ban?
No. Game bans cannot be appealed and are not removed from accounts.
