ban is permanent. also you have a gameban and not a vacban, irrelevant what it says in game. Go to your profile and click on the info button next to your ban

I could give you the exact answer as to why you were banned from CS2, and I have a friend who can verify the reason with a fail-safe method.

But I need to ask you four questions so you're 100% sure.

Question 1) Are you absolutely sure you don't know why you were banned?

Question 2) You absolutely affirm that you didn't use any program to see behind the wall.

Question 3) Are you 101% sure that you and only you played without using any other external program to help you with the game "how to see behind walls?"

Question 4 and the last one) When the reason is proven, with an explanation included, will you accept the final decision?

CS2 game bans are permanent and cannot be appealed against

Unfortunately, I do know why he has a ban, and I fully understand why because I downloaded several of his competitive games and, when I checked them, he kept target-locking his opponents. He would be able to record and upload it.

BUT, surely one of those bots that keeps copying and pasting the same text will say "a video is irrelevant," even if it's clearly obvious.

OP has a GAME BAN, not a VAC BAN. Game bans can be awarded for the following:

Cheating.
Manipulation of matchmaking rank by deranking or falsely increasing your Skill Group or Counter-Strike Rating.
Botting and/or automation.
Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of game servers or other players.

Game Bans for all of the above are not removed by Steam Support.
