So, after 12 long years in TF2, this joy befell me (the smartest ones will write that the account is worthless, you have a 5-10-20 level - start over) — VAC ban. I'm not going to whine about unban- it's stupid, I'm just offended by the lack of presumption of innocence. And a stupid combination of circumstances, the ssd died, I restored a naked computer, just an office, a backup system and adobe, and here you are - on VAC. So who are you playing for - an engineer or an arsonist! I haven't played as a sniper in a long time, and the reaction after work is no longer the same. And here you are, I've already gone through the entire system, checked everything for cheat software, checked the bindings for ridicule, there's nothing in the user agreement about them, just a smeared phrase about software and cheats. For almost a week now, I've been "smoking" forums and trying to link the reasons for the bans to my situation, but I still haven't found them. And in support, I threw the system logs and the application archive, they write, look further for your cheating software, but I do not know what to look for, well, there is no software, bare Windows. So we've been sitting sad for almost a week now, sitting sad over a glass of whiskey and thinking about what we've sinned in front of Gaben. So if there are patrols, I beg them to check my session at one point or another, yes belatedly, but it can't be that something is or was on the PC. Something like that... fck VAC and SteamSupp team hell yeah

P.S. I am ready to provide any logs and data in private messages to anyone interested, I have nothing to hide.

If it's unfair ban, it'll be auto-removed. If not, you'll be together forever.

VAC bans are delayed from time of detection to the time the ban is actually applied.

What you were doing immediately before or when the ban was applied is irrelevant.

all VAC bans come from the detection of a known cheat, whether it is used on the account itself or some sort of sharing has occurred (account, library or phone number).

Users are responsible for the security of the account and all that happens on it

I live and read as much as possible more than yours. I understand everything and I don't care about the VAC in this game as something like that, it's a shame for the injustice when everyone was bent over by bots, no one cared, and then they woke up. I want justice

Justice has been served as your account earned a ban. Doesn't matter who, just that the account broke the rules.

And I seriously doubt you've read anywhere near the amount that have on the subject over the last two decades....

VAC bans are permanent, non-negotiable, and cannot be removed by Steam Support....and also cannot be removed by anyone on this forum.

VAC bans are delayed from the time of the detection to the time that the ban is actually applied. What you were doing when the ban was applied, is irrelevant.

Why the account was banned:

Nothing you do, post or say, will remove it.

No one's going to believe your story when your account was created only eight years ago and not twelve.

I mean hardly anyone's going to believe it in the first place but at least put a little effort into your story and make the math line up.

whole lot of text and not to the point, why is it lately that people feel the need to write a whole blog/essay regarding their ban, instead of going to their profile and clicking on the info button. If you done that, you will see a part in the "can i appeal my vacban" you will see that you cannot appeal a vacban, but it is automatically investigate and if found incorrect, it will be automatically removed, now i know, if the ban is incorrect, then it will be removed within a couple hours to maybe a month or so, but after that, the ban is then permanent. Can I appeal my VAC ban?
No. VAC bans cannot be appealed. If a VAC ban is issued incorrectly it will be automatically removed after investigation, but Steam Support does not manually remove VAC bans applied to accounts for any reason.
