Game bans in cs2 can be for cheating, griefing, repeated bad behavior, or matchmaking manipulation.
If your ban is false, it will be automatically removed at a later date, otherwise it's permanent and can't be appealed under any circumstances.
Please note that these false game bans usually result from an error or issue on valves end and are exceedingly rare, like winning the lottery several times in one day rare.
Steam support is also unable to remove or investigate game bans in cs2, or any game for that matter.
This is also a user forum. No one here can remove or investigate your ban.
1 game ban on record | Info
4 day(s) since last ban
no need for notice, as that will only allow players to move their items away to another account. bans are delayed on purpose. you have a gameban and not a vacban, irrelevant what it says in game. Gamebans is given for one of a few things and its permanent
You cite consumer rights, whichever country you reside probably has laws regarding these and money you've spent. You're well within your rights to pursue action if you want to. Just don't be surprised if...
1: You don't get your money back
2: Or you do and you get your account banned entirely
It's up to you to pursue the action. Best of luck!
the system doesn't care about what you purchased, nobody cares about what you purchased. This is a COMMUNITY ONLY FORUM and NOT AN APPEAL FORUM. So go to your profile and click on the info button next to your gameban.
being toxic in game can result in a gameban and skinchangers is seen as cheats

Why are game bans issued?
Game bans in Counter-Strike 2 are issued when a player attempts to circumvent or interfere with game systems to the detriment of others.
Examples include:
Cheating.
Manipulation of matchmaking rank by deranking or falsely increasing your Skill Group or Counter-Strike Rating.
Botting and/or automation.
Intentionally interfering with the normal operation of game servers or other players.
Game Bans for all of the above are not removed by Steam Support.
Can you tell me why I was game banned?
No. We do not disclose the reason for your game ban.
Whether you were using cheat software, automating matchmaking, or abusing matchmaking the reason a game ban was issued is not shared with users.
Can I appeal my game ban?
No. Game bans cannot be appealed and are not removed from accounts.
I was not using my account when it was game banned. Can the ban be removed?
No. Regardless of who was using the account at the time the ban was issued, game bans are permanent and are not removed.
Can I move my Counter-Strike 2 items to a different account?
No. Counter-Strike 2 items cannot be moved from a game banned account to a different account.
Can I upload content to the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop and Community with a Counter-Strike 2 game ban?
No. You cannot upload new content, such as guides, artwork, or Workshop items to the Counter-Strike 2 Community if you have been game banned.
Can I vote on Counter-Strike 2 Steam Workshop content with a Counter-Strike 2 game ban?
No. Counter-Strike 2 game bans prevent voting within the Counter-Strike 2 Workshop.
None of that matters. At the end of the day the only thing that matters is the account did violate the rules.
Which resulted in a permanent ban that you cannot appeal.
Also bans are delayed from the time it gets issued to when is shows up on your profile. So whatever you did could have been from weeks or months ago.
On top of the Valve can terminate not only this account but every account you have ever made.
bans are delayed on purposed. The only time they notify you, is when you get your ban.
i have seen accounts with far more items then you or far more games then you, getting banned, so what has those items got to do with anything
yes, countries have laws and regulations. But unlucky for you, you pretty much agree to Steam TOS and also agreed to CS2 agreement when you installed it. So in other words, your account was caught breaking the rules and the ban is permanent
lol. and you do know this is a COMMUNITY ONLY FORUM and NOT AN APPEAL FORUM. So again ban is permanent. If you want to take legal action. go ahead. and while you at it, go and ask all the people who threaten legal action, on how far they got with it.
