It's been 0 days so far, but with a multiple vac ban you can probably already assume it's permanent.

Frankly, multiple or one, it's nearly always (99.99%) permanent ban.
I only remember one guy who was unbanned from VAC (aside for AMD crowd, 1-2 years ago).

It is indeed very, very rare. Seen it a few times over the years. Here is a thread that had a couple that were removed automatically :

The context of the posts and my first post that links to the original thread should show they were removed, as well as checking using other methods.

But you guys are correct, nevertheless. Almost all of them are permanent and correctly applied.

The anti-lag+ debacle, I saw hundreds get unbanned due to it. That was just in the last 10 months.

Yup. It's one of the good things about this forum here......

At some point, someone, usually a regular, will post the "removed automatically if applied incorrectly" comment, and thus the OP has been given all the possibilities.

Permanent or removed automatically.

Multiple VAC bans on record wiling to bet op is just a cheater.

So it was last 10 months then; I remember that AMD had problems due to their software. Fortunately it was positively solved for everyone involved.

Unfortunately, it added another story to cheaters repertoire.
