I need help with vac-ban
Well, it all started about two months ago.

One day like any other day I tried to log into my steam account and I got the notice that I had been banned 1 day in the game "player unknown battleground" (PUBG). I tried to get into the game because I didn't think it was true and I had been banned, I sent an email to the game support but they didn't respond. It was a one-day ban, so I didn't think much of it either.

The next day I returned and to my surprise I was banned PERMANENTLY. That's when all the emails start (I put links to the images at the end):

ME : I never use a cheat or a hack in any game. Recently (2 days ago) my account had banned for 1 day, I post a ticket about that (in Spanish) and I dont get any response. Yesterday i dont play pubg (because the ban) and today a mensage appears saying that i'm permanently banned.Why I have been banned?. How is possible?. What can I do?

It looks like you are writing about an account that has been restricted.

We understand that this may be a very frustrating experience. However, please understand that a restriction is placed because we have determined that the release note that even without having any programs specifically for “hacking/cheating” there are other programs or actions that can violate our Rules of Conduct and cause a permanent restriction.

- Software that bypasses the services in the game
- Programs that alter the game in any way (even if it is not for cheating)
- Cheats, macros, etc. for other games and not for PUBG is still a violation of the game’s services
Having purchases, low KPD, short gameplay time, etc. does not exclude any accounts from restrictions.

We can assure you that the account was blocked because there was a violation discovered on the account.

We apologize but we cannot provide any specifics on the details of the violation.

However, we also constantly check our systems for false bans and if found, we correct any issues internally.

We ask for your understanding of this situation.

We will continue our work to make sure that no erroneous restrictions are made and continue creating a fair gaming environment for all BATTLEGROUNDS players.

ME : Well, let's say I understand these are your company policies, and you're just acting in consequence, but let me repeat the problem here: I'VE NEVER USED any kind of hack, software or application that can "bypass" the system. I DIDN'T USE anything that allow me to change the game, neither "macros" or similars to take any advantage. It's clearly unfair, I can't come back to the game (in a permanent way) and my "reputation" in STEAM has been compromised because of an unfair and undeserved ban.

Because of this, I want you to answer me these 3 questions:
-What kind of accussation or evidences exist against me? (any log or something like that)
-What can I do? I feel helpless, I can't do anything in this matter and I consider this situation unfair.
-If the case is an "erroneous restriction" as you have said, how much will I have to wait? Is there any way to protest about this?

Please let me insist again. I understand your side, but please take in consideration my side, because I've been unfairly and permanently banned.

Unfortunately, as mentioned previously, there was an infraction detected in-game and the account has been restricted.

Violation of the terms and services does not just include cheating/hacking programs but also any programs that alter, bypass or modify the game or its services in any way (even if it is used for non-cheating reasons).

We understand that this is an unfortunate situation and we apologize for the frustration, but there is nothing more we can do to assist with this restriction.

You've not answered none of my questions. You've not send me none evidences that justifies the accusation and the ban. You are not giving me an alternative way to solve this problem or reactivate my account, neither you've told me how much time should I wait to solve the "erroneous restriction" (in the case this is that situation). I think you pretend me to forget about this, and that's not gonna happen, I'm not going to tolerate this.

I've been writing on some forums and reddit, talking with other users. It seems that I'm not the only one who is suffering this situation an other similars. There are a lot of people that have been unfairly banned and that penalty was removed. One of the suggestions that these users gave me was trying to find why the "anticheat" came up on my account. So I was checking my computer (the only one which has that account linked) and the ONLY ONE software that COULD MAYBE make the anticheat came up is an external application called "PlayVIG" https://playvig.com/
It's so simple to use: they give you "missions" to do in some games (PUGB for example) and, if you do that missions, they give you "coins" that you can use on PayPal. The missions are "do X thing and watch this commercial". This app is totally legal and doesn't alter, bypass or modify the game or its services in any way.

I ask you to check my case again considering this information. And please, look this case taking my side. I've always hated those who use external software to take advantages on games. And now I'm being judged and sanctioned because of this. I didn't do anything wrong.

We do not provide any retests of restrictions since it is being done internally. We ask you kindly to refrain from sending multiple tickets on the same subject.

We have no other information or details that we can provide to you about this situation.

If you continue to submit the same ticket continuously, we will have to categorize this as an abuse of our support system and cease any future assistance.

We understand that the situation is frustrating and we have assisted you as much as possible.

After that I stopped sending messages to the support and decided to wait and see if, as they decided, they would check my ban.

A month passed and I wrote back to them because reading through reddit and other networks they said it could have been for another cause:

I was banned 44 days ago, I sent tickets but there was little response. I was told that my case would be investigated and that I should be expected.

Even so I want to update my case because I have read in various social networks, forums and reddit that the banning may have occurred by putting on steam, in parameters of launch " -KoreanRating". I don't think this is reason enough to banish, even more so because I had that option because I'm color blind and otherwise it's impossible for me to tell the difference between blood and environment.

After all this I tried to contact the steam support because as I read:

Do players have to contact the game developer directly to appeal against the blocking or can they also contact Valve/Steam customer service for this?

Players must first contact the game developer if they wish to appeal against a block, because the developer has the data to justify such a block. If a player feels that a developer is being unreasonable, they should contact the Steam Support team. If Valve determines that a developer is abusing his or her authority to apply blocks in play, Valve may prevent the developer from applying blocks in the future.


But I can't find any way to contact Steam's support, so I'm opening this thread to see if you can help me with my problem.

What does any of this have to do with the VAC system? It's a game ban. You do need to go through the game developer to appeal a game ban, not Steam.

TL:DR

It's a PERMANENT game ban and not a vac issue, get over it again its permanent
The account has been double checked and there is evidence of breaking the terms and services of the game.

What else do you need? They already told you very polite that you ban was not wrong.

Since actual VAC bans operate on the same terms, namely not telling you which of your cheats caused the ban, i dont see Steam support doing anything. Now be a big boy (or gal) and accept that you screwed up and have to deal with the consequences.
