App Confirmations Not Working

This post is just a report on the App. I am not looking for a discussion or a fix.
When I try to place an order on the marketplace Steam asks to use the app to confirm. I confirm on the app, nothing happens. Even if I wait several minutes nothing happens. After I confirm on the app, the confirmation is removed from the app but steam is stuck on the confirmation page. If I exit the page the order is canceled. So I cannot place orders until this problem is solved.
I tried:
- Waiting several minutes after the confirmation (did not work)
- Clearing App cache (did not work)
- Reinstalling the App (did not work)
- Log off and log in (did not work)
- Restart phone and pc (did not work)
- Turn on App notifications (did not work and the confirmation did not pop up as a notification)
I give up and I will wait for future App patches to solve this problem.

I'm having this same issue. Can't even restart the app because I have the authenticator and the app refuses me logging out.

These same issues are occurring for me also. I guess all we can do is wait for them to fix this issue in a future update.

same here. get the alert, get in the app, press confirm and....nothing. sometimes it will send the request multiple times for no reason. i even tried taking my phone off of wi-fi thinking it may have been caused by my less than stellar router (has been known to cause similar issues)

Same here, I can only guess Steam does not care about the money they are loosing. Never have I ever needed to go to my mobile to confirm anything prior to the last 2 weeks. Hope they fix it soon, it's been out for 2 weeks for me.

update on my end. it seems the confirmations work when its a small single purchase but for multiple purchases it sends for each individual item instead and somehow forgets which things its trying to approve?

I was buying “in full color” or something for cs2 and it isn’t buying, tried buying at 34 it’s much higher now, quite upset because I sold at like 80 but, oh well :(
