Buying a game on Steam mobile

Hi guys, there's a problem that I've been encountered for a long time.
I can't buy a game on Steam mobile. I'd tried to use many payment methods, but nothing could work. When I pressed "continue to Smart2pay", it took me to my browser (Google Chrome) and loading for a second. Then nothing came up, everything was quiet.

Is there anyone having the same problem as me? I really need help. I don't want to open my laptop just to buy one game.

It sounds like a WebView issue. The google garbage for the inbuilt browser. It's a pretty common issue. Try updating it. Otherwise, disabling it (this doesn't always work depending on the Android version) is an option, and if the app is smart, it will open an actual browser rather than that garbage WebView browser.

It was safe to uninstall as it use to cause alot more issues back then, and because users uninstalled it they made it a "necessary component" on the later versios of android to stop users from uninstalling.
