Stars in user names
I've noticed a few users with stars in their user names. Stars are also used to denote moderators...as a result, these people appear to be moderators when they are not. The difference is when you point at their names, the star will be underlined, and a moderator's will not.

I think either the star should not be displayed, or the moderator symbol should be changed.

They should just make the star for moderators a different colour, or use an image (in much the same way that a picture of the Valve logo is used for Valve employees).

I agree. I have pointed this out to the developers.

On the other hand, with the small update they just rolled out, the little down arrow for the drop-down menu now appears between your name and the star. I think that's an improvement but a different coloured star would still be better.

You're right. The little arrow helps.

Yes, that does make a bit of difference.
Change the font style. Perhaps bold the name? Some people don't notice color.
Also sort the user list by admin/moderator/member/guest I mean you already have two collapsable lists maybe make one more for admin/moderator. Then you can't fake it by changing your user names and using stars.
