Admin abuse?
Does anybody know how it gets handeled on CS:GO servers?

I know an admin that's not only abusing his powers but outright verbally harassing players for no reason, just for his own amusement.

He even goes as far to tell people to kill themselves, he's also not the only admin to abuse his powers, i've seen players get banned for sounding like a "minority". Quoted directly from the admins there.

It's a shame that internet bullying like this is tolerated like it has been, it's nothing to kid around with, people kill themselves every day because of bullies on the internet and in real life. I think something should be done about it.

Perhaps if valve kept a list of all servers ever (thats a huge list) that us users could review and rate. You would find out pretty quickly which ones are respectable instead of hearsay and trial and error. Thats is even more data and people would still try to abuse it. I don't forsee this being implemented. TF2 itself (not steam-wide) and only on your account provides a server blacklist which should be extended to as many steam games as possible, hopefully to the steam server browser outside of games.
For now though you don't have to put up with bad admins, just go to another server.

Admins on their own servers can do whatever they want. It's theirs

It's not THAT hard to find a decent community of servers or clan or whatever if you need to. Jsut favourite servers you find are to your liking. Even back when I played CS I jsut randomly hopped arond and it wasnt like it was that hard to find a good server.
Their house their rules. How would you like it if someone told you how to run your household.

Having said that, Steam users must follow the Steam Online Conduct rules.

If you feel the behavior of a user is abusive, then you should use the "Report Violation" link available on the profile of this user.
