What exactly is going on here? Why are all of my purchased products out of date? Is this lawful? 18 USC 1030

Why am I being given outdated software that registers as harmful? Why am I not receiving what I paid for? Why am I being ignored & banned for posting these informative discussions of my experiences while witnessing other members violate the community guidelines according to the reasons I have been accused of? Why am I currently & have been banned from actual Steam Support for my issues without any solutions or assistance? My right to US Law 18 USC 1030: being violated without any explanation. I'm sure they will find another reason to ban me for a long duration of time to conceal what I am exposing. So I am going to screenshot this discussion for evidence purposes.

You clearly don’t understand on Steam works.

A news update post is NOT required for devs to push an update to their game on steam. A lot of devs don’t post news or their patch notes on steam at all.

Take just street fighter 6. Go into the game (you can check the version). Guess what? It’s on the last version that is posted on the devs website.

So try harder with this low effort bait.

5 youtube videos with not even 100 views between them. Something tells me this thread was made to advertise one's own youtube channel.

No thanks, not interested.

More than likely. Seeing as the steam account signed in on the videos is the OP.

Clearly it is because you do not understand the subject matter and what you are doing can also easily be perceived as misinformation and misleading people?

You aren't, unfortunately you have no clue how steam works, and updates often do not have a news article posted advertising it. Most updates are pushed without a news blurb being made

LOL... Wow. It's sad to see so many bitter attacks but still no explanation to my questions. Typical
I'm glad I know United States Laws & that they can not be bypassed by any subscriber agreements. I know how this works & I know how it's suppose to work. And ya'll obviously didn't watch the videos. It's not for your entertainment. Please take your cringe elsewhere. You people are not on topic & being argumentative. That's against policy right? I can't report ya'll or do anything seeing that I am currently banned from Steam Support after sending them the same stuff. LOL If you don't like my discussion just scroll along. Steam has really cyber bullied you people into submission. SMH

How can I be misinforming with my own personal information & evidence? Steam better work according to the FTC & Consumer protection Complaisance. LOL It's no way around it.

My YouTube traffic is not the topic. Please follow the community policies. Especially since I am literally banned from being able to report at the moment. Harassing is against policy as well. Almost 100. 3 of the videos were posted within a few hours & only in here. And it's definitely dry in Steam Forums... LOL

Please stay on topic. My discussion mentions nothing about news. There was no mention of news being prominent in any of my videos either. Stay on topic. Tell me that I am up to date after what you saw or refuse to see. Otherwise you are off topic & in violation of Community policy.

I screenshot these interactions as well.

Changing legal landscape and liability theories
Traditionally, software vendors have used license agreements (EULAs) to disclaim liability for bugs and breaches. However, this is changing as policymakers respond to the growing societal and economic harm caused by insecure software. The potential legal theories for holding companies liable include:
Negligence: A customer could claim that the company failed to use "due care" when developing or maintaining the software. This can be difficult to prove, as it requires showing that the company's practices were unreasonable.
Strict liability: In this model, manufacturers are held responsible for damages caused by a defective product, regardless of fault. This is being applied more frequently, especially in Europe and for software in physical products.
Breach of contract: If a software company promises to provide technical support or specific functionality but fails to do so, it can be liable for breach of contract.
Proposed legislation: The U.S. National Cybersecurity Strategy and other initiatives are exploring ways to shift liability onto software vendors who fail to take reasonable precautions.

Clearly it is because you do not understand the subject matter and what you are doing can also easily be perceived as misinformation and misleading people?
Smart devices (IoT): A 2024 FTC report criticized manufacturers for failing to disclose software update durations for smart products, potentially violating consumer protection laws. If a company fails to provide updates required to maintain advertised features, it may be engaging in deceptive practices.
Financial and privacy data: Companies handling customer data are subject to regulations like the FTC Safeguards Rule, which requires them to protect customer information. This includes maintaining an information security program to protect against threats, and failing to patch known vulnerabilities could be a violation.

What is a patch compliance?
Patch compliance is the act of keeping devices updated to meet defined patch policies and deadlines. Whenever a new patch is released, companies and IT teams should ensure the update rolls out across all their devices, keeping their endpoints and networks secure and compliant.Aug 21, 2025
I am... LOL About to be rich LOL

Yet in your FIRST video you are looking at the news section for Steet Figher 6. Which is where update info is shown.... IF THE DEVS POSTED ANY INFO WHEN THE GAME WAS UPDATE.

KEY WOULD "IF"

The game was last updated September 1 2025 and the last update posted on their website was guess what? September 1 2025.

The devs simple didn't make an update post about it. So nothing would show up on the page you a scroll through.
