Should steam pospone the political sale?
Just curious, seems like bad timing IMO

It was set in stone back in February...

The sale began before the event took place.

Valve is not omniscient and isn't able to predict when crazy people want to do their bad things.

September 8th was the start date, and since events are planned significantly in advance, this is definitely not an issue.
Already threads about this across multiple forums.

Answer is: no.
Nah, he was just another racist moron on the internet. He will not be remembered. It's crazy that he said children should watch public executions just for his own kids to end up seeing his.

Yeah, I've never heard of the guy. Aren't shootings extremely common in USA anyway?
What was so special about this one?

This. There was some white supremacist shooting up a school not longer after this Charlie guy popped his clogs.

Steam would have to shut down permanently if it had to react to every politically motivated wacko killing people over in America. There's multiple a day.

What makes you think he won’t be remembered? I would wager the so called “racist moron” (who made a career out of campaigning against anti-white discrimination…) will have a much, much further reaching legacy than yourself and everyone you know on real life combined.
