Quit gaming and take long hikes in the countryside instead.
Much better for body and soul.
The first 2 points doesn't matter in my opinion, unless you want to be in some very strict achievement hunting community.
The last one is also whatever, we all are looking for sales and get gifts from friends.
Also keep in mind, that you can use multiple Steam accounts if you want, though in your case I don't think creating a new one is neccessity.
It's not like Steam is charging you for games you don't want to play. And playtimes end up being rubbish anyway.
Speaking from experience here, a lot of my own past selves (go figure) are cringeworth in retrospective but accepting those is a part of developing a strong menteal health foundation.
Either gift something here and there to the friends that helped you out before, or, if that's not possible anymore, to other people when you notice they have stuff on their wishlist but struggle to buy the stuff themselves.
And you gotta think about the fact that people just change. If you feel that you've been bad in the past, it doesn't mean that you have to be bad in the present.
Just try to be a good person now, and live how it makes you happy. That's all that matters.
The only thing I'll say is there's no wrong way to play a game as long as you're enjoying it.
I just gifted a new DLC that came out for a game to someone on my friends list that made almost 2,000 workshop items for that game.
It felt like a nice thing to do for someone that put so much effort into a game and made it better.
The idea that your account is "messy" is only because you are seeing it that way. Literally almost everyone else in the world isn't. You can get rid of those feelings by doing the things you want to do now that puts you in that good place you are wanting to be, and then just let time pass. The idea that your account is messy will fade away with time and the actions you take now will help with that. One day soon you'll forget about all the feelings of having a messy account.
