Less ping in the farthest server compared to the ping of the closer server
I am from south east asia but I usually play in russian server and I also get 180 ping in russia and 260 ping in us server but now I'm getting 300 ping in russia but the same 260 ping in us server and the fun fact is russia is relatively closer to asian countries than usa

If you are referring to a specific game, you need to go to that game's hub.

Geographical proximity doesn't mean much, my dude. (IP) networks are complex.

Also, my condolences. 180 ms latency is horrible.

I use to get 180 ping in both australia and russian servers as both of them are located in similar distance from my place however I still get 180 ping on australia server only the ping of russian server is changed almost doubled but what confuses me is I still get the same ping on australia server like I had before which clears that there is nothing wrong with my internet connection also all the other servers has the same ping like they had before only the russian server is having this issue

And yes 180 ping can be bad but it's still better than playing in my native server which has less than 60 ping but always has toxic players aroundso it's better to play in 180 ping but most importantly playing in a friendly environment

The game is play is probably the most toxic game in the steam where nobody gives a love unless they get some sort of own benefit from it

I agree. If we're talking about MP here I would possibly not even bother playing personally...

I used to have 16 to 24 ms playing League of Legends a decade ago... If it lagged for some reason and I bumped around 60 then it was almost an automatic loss. Only saving grace here is that it is not the ms itself that is so important as the relative difference with the other players. If every player have the same ping then you're on a level playing field. Although I can safely say that the feeling of enjoyment is probably going to be quite low at 180 ping level, no matter what.
